International Design Services (IDS) strives to be the premier supplier of steel detailing and connection design services through hard work, dedication, and integrity. Our primary objective is to ensure that our customers receive the best service by completing all jobs on schedule, within budget, and with fabricator- and erector-friendly details and connections.

At IDS, we operate under a partnership-based service model designed to make our detailing and engineering teams feel like an extension of our clients’ own in-house staff. Through close collaboration, consistent communication, and shared project ownership, we aim to seamlessly integrate into our fabricators’ workflows—providing the responsiveness, alignment, and accountability of an internal team while maintaining the scalability and efficiency of an external partner.

Our proactive approach to design includes establishing effective communication with the construction team through BIM, working cohesively and seamlessly with our customers, and actively participating in the design assist role.
